Yes Virginia, there ARE Democrats in El Dorado County and we are working for a secure, fully employed and healthy America in a peaceful world.
The United Democrats are a grass roots club, affiliated with, and sponsored by, the El Dorado County Democratic Central committee, chartered as an official Democratic club since 1985.
We organize and man the Democratic booth at the El Dorado County Fair, work to get out the vote, participated in voter registration drives, and sponsor public forums on issues of concern. We hold receptions, dinners and fund raising events, that support Democratic candidates, and work to support environmental groups, and those working for the homeless and disadvantaged.
We meet twice a month, once at noon and once at six pm, at Denny's Restaurant at 99 Fair Lane, near the county offices and along the North side of route 50, exit Forney Road/Placerville Drive.
